So happy to have Major(ISH) back... I was so worried on the morning of the shoot. I didn't have a photographer and I didn't have a camera. I had to trail my butt to Wal-mart to buy a brand new camera. I wondered if the pictures would look decent and how dumb I would look with a simple digital camera. But to my surprise the pictures turned out very good. Allayna was a perfect model! She is sooo made for the runways of NYC. I really lucked out by finding her.

So, for this look I had to go for a very soft look. It dark but very sensual. My favorite color is black.. I love black dearly.. its so sexy, sophisticated and can be very demure which I think is the case here. People alway recognize black as being so negative but I find it to have its own little light. Its something very haunting and mysterious when a person wears black. That's why its so drawing.. there is something deep and unknowning about the color.

LAST MINUTE MODEL/PHOTOGRAPHER/MUA CASTING IN ATL..

Hey I'm Elle.

I was suppose to be doing a magazine holiday feature but they canceled on me. I have a bunch of clothing and accessories being shipped from Los Angeles and NYC and its costing me money! I don't want to simply waste my money and send the clothing back!

So, if I can find a PROFESSIONAL AND EXPERIENCE Fashion photographer, model, make-up artist, and hairstylist, I would continue with the shoot!

Everyone gets the right to publish in portfolio or social networks ONLY! I will post pics on my fashion blog, http://www.majorish.com. If you do publish it on social networks I would ask that you please give everyone credit for their potion of the work.

Models need to be sample sizes 2/4. If you wear a 9/10 in heels that would be perfect!! White, Black, Hispanic, Asian, or anything.. EVERY ETHNICITY IS WELCOMED.

MAKEUP ARTIST/HAIRSTYLIST MUST HAVE THEIR OWN EQUIPMENT AND BE LOCATED IN ATLANTA.

Clothing for this shoot is very holiday party/cocktail party inspired. Lots of sparkles, glamorous gowns, beautiful accessories. Some of the name brands included Blaque Label, Muubba, Street Ahead, 80%20, and a bunch others!

LOOK OF THE DAY - 11/30/11

I wanted to brighten things up a bit. I'm not very big on color and I figure the best way to work myself into a colorful mood is to work it in with some nudes. There are actually two main looks here. The first is with the orange chiffon draped overlays w/ asymmetrical hem skirt.. this is a bit romantic but I added some architectural and textured accessories. There is also the more chic and classic look with the green pencil skirt. The second look is very clean cut. You could easily layer the corset w/ a sheer top to give it an interesting twist.

LOOK OF THE DAY - 11/29/11

TOTALLY GRUNGE INSPIRED.

I really dig this look because it looks hella comfortable a rocker, a little punk, and a lot of style. Another effortless look! I love this.. When I look at this outfit, I can't help but think garage band... plus its perfect for the cooler weather. You can always opt to wear a denim instead of the tights of course and add more layers.. like a cool sweater and the a maxi skirt for a more over-sized look.

BASIC FASHIONISTAS

Today, I wanted to keep things a little basic. These are just basic layering pieces that should and could already be in your closet. I totally believe in wearing an outfit more than once, twice, and at least 18 times.. lol. I really wanted to do something that is more fall/winter inspired. You could put a military jacket or coat with this just to keep the basic look and keep warm.
